Feels like having the whole world in one's hand

It's just how you want to perceive anything - It's basically all about what you want to do with the phone - if it's just a basic phone function that one is looking for then better go for other phone set available in the market.

This incredible phone allows all the following (which no other phone will do)
• simply connect it using USB and connect to Internet
• use web browser
• Receive calls - send sms - GSM functionality
• Wifi connectivity....
• Take a screenshot :-)
• My geolocation using the GPS
• Have look at the SW stack in realtime - great work :0)
• goes without saying flashing the NAND and using the the phone as multiboot Phone ... Isn't that smart
• Get the phone interface on the desktop
• Cool ideas creep in the mind regarding the possibilities of creating an application and really having tools to implement it. Think of anything else you cann't do then do it...

It does come with some drawback(s) but I am willing to part with it.
Having read reviews about the OM which clearly indicated that the device is not yet ready for users is justified.  These users(end) won't appreciate the features provided by OM rather they will die of cardiac arrest if there 20k mobile crashes...To be frank any mobile device that is released with the tag linux (or rather open set) in it is always intended towards people who like to play with tech their own way.

Some of the ventures are started with best of intentions but takes a backseat later on due to worldly desire or succumb to the outside pressure.

***PS:- Don't compare it with any other smart phones available in the market because it's smarter than the already existing one
